Savon de Marseille, 150 g slice, 72% vegetable oils

We carefully cut “Grandma” slices from large 17 kg blocks made during the saponification process that is carried out in large cauldrons. It is also known as ‘anti-cramp’ soap because of its lye content, and for this reason the soap is placed under the mattress cover. Grandma’s slice is also known to be excellent moth repellent. If using as a stain remover, it is best to use a slice: before washing, slightly wet the soap and rub it on the stain. Savon de Marseille is the perfect choice for use on shirt collars and foundation stains. For use on wounds: Savon de Marseille can be used to clean small wounds and grazed skin. The sodium chloride content means it can also be used as a toothpaste: It is very gentle on your gums, and will leave your teeth feeling clean and white.
